Pearl was raised in a working-class family by a blue-collar father who worked tirelessly to keep the lights on and a devoted stay-at-home mother who supported her family every step of the way. From an early age, Pearl learned the values of hard work, responsibility, and sacrifice, not as abstract ideas, but as daily realities.
Those lessons shaped the path she would take in life and career. They guided her decision to become a nurse, her rise into healthcare leadership, and her commitment to building systems that work for everyday people, not just the powerful or well-connected. Today, those same values drive Pearl’s belief that government should be accountable, practical, and rooted in real-life experience.
